Hi everyone,
I have a problem with the Portech GSM Gateway.
It worked very well with my 3cx, but now it happens to me that I don't see the number of the caller but the number that called me previously.

What do you think it can depend on?
Thank you

Hi,

I can't guaranty anything, but try these settings in your 3CX Gateway.

Hi,
thanks for the advice but it doesn't work, I always see the number of those who called earlier.
You have other indications.
Thank you
Regards

Reboot the Portech?

Hi,
restarting Portech and 3cx Server is one of the first things I did
Thank you

Hi,

If you restarted the Portech and 3CX and it has always worked fine, something else must have been changed.
But what?
Have you changed anything recently?

Hi,
I can assure you that nothing has changed, the customer has noticed this but keep in mind that he has been using it since January 2020.
I don't know how to fix it
Regards

Hi,

Is the Portech use the right time, no time difference between Portech and 3CX?

Please post some screenshots of the Portech config:
- Route - Mobile to LAN table
- Mobile - Mobile settings
- SIP Settings - DTMF Settings / SIP Responses settings

Hi,
I am attaching the screens.

Thanks for your help.
Regards

So...if you power down the GSM gateway, then power back up (hopefully) clearing any memory, then have someone call in, (perhaps someone that has not called recently) does it still show the caller ID number of the previous caller? Can you confirm the number that was just sent, in the 3CX Activity Log?

I can't understand any reason for the gateway to retain any previous caller ID information.

Hi,

I have looked at the screenshots (compared to mine) and I see no potential problems.
Have you already powered down the gateway as suggested by @leejor?

Hi,
if I turn off the Portech it works well for two calls (in the 3cx activity log I see the correct number) from the third call I see the previous number (also in the 3cx activity log)

The time and date are synchronized on the Portech and on the 3cx, I have configured a DC as Sntp Server.

Thank you

Hi,

If the Portech receives 3 consecutive calls, will you also see 3 different numbers appear in Mobile > Status > Incoming Mob?

Considering that the gateway was working, and assuming no changes were made to the device, and given the fact that after a power-up, the first few calls seem to work correctly...I'd speculate there is an issue (hardware, or corrupted firmware) with the gateway.

I would make note of all settings, and first see if there are any firmware updates to be applied, if so, apply, then reset to factory settings regardless.

Re-provision and see if that has made a difference. If it hasn't, then the next step would be to contact Portech with the issue, see if they have any ideas, along with checking to see if the unit is still under warranty
