Hello everyone. I have 3cx on Debian 10 and a GXW4104 grandstream gateway. Upstream a Vodafone router with 2 flows simultaneously.
Both inbound and outbound calls work smoothly.
The problem encountered is that the gateway or switchboard does not notice the hanging up of the phone call and this is not closed correctly.
For example, if you receive a call and the call is closed before it is answered, the phones still ring for several seconds.
Reading on the net, it could be a hang-up tone frequency problem, but I'm not sure where to set the value.
The tones that are needed must be for the Italian nation.

- 3cx V18 on Debian 10
- GrandStream GXW4104 gateway with firmware:
Program: 1.4.1.5
Loader: 1.1.3.4
Boot: 1.1.3.2

Here is a link to the same issue, different country.

You would have to confirm, with your provider, what the disconnect tone being used, consists of.

You might also check to see if they offer a line disconnect option, known as CPC, which removes line voltage for a very short time when the far end hangs up. It is a lot faster that awaiting a tone, but all providers do not offer it, it all depends on the type of exchange (linecard) your PSTN lines are served from.

Hi Leejor, unfortunately I have already contacted the provider, but he could not give me any technical information about it ... I was hoping for someone who would have the same problem as me. On the net I was also able to find the frequencies of my country and I would like to set them manually, but I don't know where to put my hands. Could you just give me a hand in case?

This has an example of the settings in the gateway.

I'm going to assume that the Busy Tone, in the gateway settings means the disconnect tone, and that they may not be one and the same, from your provider.

Keep in ind that if you are not using the incumbent PSTN provider in your country, then your provider may use different tones.
