Hi All, am tasked by my boss to setup an IP PBX using GXW4104 gateway and 4 normal PSTN lines for the company.
Have finally managed to get the internal calls working with audio but am currently stuck with calls coming in from and going out to the gateway.
Managed to make calls to and received calls from the external lines but there are no audio heard on both ends.
Not sure if this will help but hope this reporting below from the Server Status helps.

MediaServerReporting::RTPReceiver C:2:1 No RTP packets were received:remoteAddr=0.0.0.0:1600,extAddr=0.0.0.0:0,localAddr=x.x.x.x:7002
MediaServerReporting::RTPReceiver C:2:2 No RTP packets were received:remoteAddr=x.x.x.x:9028,extAddr=0.0.0.0:0,localAddr=x.x.x.x:7004

**where x.x.x.x = 3cx server IP.

Any help on this will be deeply appreciated.

Well.. finally managed to get the audio out to the pstn line but am still unable to receive any audio from my headset. :(

Hi, Thks for your reply.
Am currently using headset connected from to the com.
As per Lan specs, not sure what u are asking about but am currently behind a router and all the system are attached to the router thru a switch.
Also, am not using any VOIP provider, just 4 normal PSTN lines to do the connection and I did not set PBX to deliver audio.

lol!!!Finally realised why I cant hear the other party, cos my RTP port at client side is not mapped properly :P

Thanks Galal for your help!;)

HI,

I have similar situation.
I'm using also the GXW4104. The incoming calls route to digital reception.
When the caller makes the selection, the phone is ringing but when we are pickup up the phone we have no audio.
We have found that the incoming call goes to HOLD and we need to press HOLD (or transfer) and then to resume the call.

Any idea why it’s happens?
Thanks
