Is there a way to Hide an extensions from being written to the Directory File that is used for Polycom.

There is an option in extension to Hide from Assistant... But it's still in the File that is downloaded for the Directory?

I don't think that there is, and it's one of the reasons why I decided to provision all of my Polycom phones using an FTP server so I have that level of fine control over them.

(Plus the Polycom's can then write their overides + local contact directory to the FTP server as a backup, along with boot and application logs and you can provision them with custom ringtones etc).

I submitted a few ideas on Polycom Directory handling.. Would love some feedback
