Can someone please tell me what 3CX is doing?
One of the licenses (4SC) of a customer expired during holiday so I renewed it through our distributor (4SC + 3CX hosting).
The host was still offline after the renewal so I contacted 3CX throught the contactform (you can only create a ticket if you have 8SC (LOL).. And they said: "Yeah you are only able to use our 3CX host if you have 8SC (WTF)?

My customer needed to be online ASAP so I upgraded to 8SC though my distributor, unfortunately the host is still offline and 3CX is not responding on my request.
We have around 500 end users and im really considering to move them to an other VoIP platform. This is ridicolous.

You can also host systems yourself and manage your own VMs. This way you don't have any requirements for license size, and you can fix these issues yourself.

For now, you have to wait for the 3CX Support to restore your VM from a backup, if they still have one. Hopefully you have one as well.

Or just hook up with a partner that does this for you for a market conform price. We have a lot of small business clients that doesn't fit for 3CX anymore.

That's why there's the multicompany mode now. Useful for smaller clients onto one server.

And sure, hosting partners exist. We do it for some as well. But managing a few VMs isn't that difficult with 3CX. It almost manages itself.

Ok, agree. But that is not what we signed up for.
3CX is giving us extra work by forcing the new policy and that is something I can't agree with.

I notice you opened a ticket with 3CX technical support, which has now been responded to. You upgraded the 4sc to an 8SC and renewed the subscription, as required for 3cx hosting, but you did not actually renew the hosting itself; only the subscription was renewed.

From the portal's subscription section, please click the upgrade button and add 3CX hosting. Once you make the payment, the system will come back online after a few minutes. Please avoid redeploying, as this will create a new machine without the existing configuration.
