Hi team,
Well done with the recent and forthcoming changes, Multi Company Mode is a really interesting option to accommodate very small business solutions here in the UK with the 2025 analogue copper switch off.
So I've setup a test environment and enabled multi company mode with an aim to replicate your hosted StartUp solution.
The group restrictions works really well to contain the user within their own environment (obviously room for improvement with phonebook, directory etc) , however when a manager in a group creates a new user the next available extension number is assigned. This is a different behaviour from that of your hosted solution where each group appears to have a reservation on the next 10 extension numbers and thus when a manager creates a new extension the ext numbers are all sequential for that group.
Is this something we can enable with additional parameters or is this proprietary functionality only available on the 3cx hosted version?
Keep up the good work
Regards,
David.
Also... As always overall admin ability to help end users with settings is a really useful feature, so things like group hours been editable to the admin login would be really helpful, appreciate more work for your devs to make things updatable in more than one location, however essential from a support perspective. Another option I've seen used on other systems is the ability of the admin to 'impersonate' a user, so essentially login as them (without needing their login details) and thus been able to access the settings that way.
