Can someone explain what the red/green/grey indicators mean in the admin interface for hotdesk phones.

There's an Indicator under the Extension column and another under the IP Phone column.

My HD00005 phone is offline so i guess Grey+Red = not connected.
The Green+Green phones are online and ready to be assigned to an extension
HD00010 is signed in so im gessing Grey+Green is that

But what does HD00009 indicate with its Red+Green indicators... As far as I can tell theres no difference between this phone and any of the others ???

Normally you shouldn't see Red in the first column, it means user HD00009 has status "DND" set.
The catch is one can't change the status of the HD phone user, so it is unclear how it got into this state.
This will not affect functionality at all, just a UI glitch - so nothing to worry about.

Perhaps you might provide any insight on this matter, could be it's an old backup restored?

its an upgrade from v18 - im pretty sure you can still press DND on a hotdesk phone when its not logged in... ill do some testing

You're right - it is possible, never thought about it.
