I installed a v20 on-premise version today and restored the configuration from a v18 backup.
Now the dial code *77* for hotdesking no longer works. In the Call Log, it shows "HoursOverride (*77*) - Invalid dial code". The same happens when I change the dial code to *78* or *79*. However, if I use *87* as the dial code, the function works normally.
These dial codes are not used for other functions, and I couldn’t find anything related to the number 77 in the parameters or the backup.
What could be causing this issue? It worked flawlessly with v18.

If you click system extensions from the dash and search *77* what does it say is using it?

Hi @Alphabetic,
nothing, there is no extension that contains the numbers 77 / 78 / 79.

Do you have any dial code that starts with *7? They can't conflict/overlap.

Hi @SteveITS!
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!
In customers v18, *7 was set as the out-of-office dial code. This parameter is missing from the dial codes section in v20, but is still visible as DIALCODEOUTOFFICE parameter.
While this setting worked in v18, allowing *71 and *72 to be used alongside *77 for call pickup, in v20, the DIALCODEOUTOFFICE dial code *7 excludes all other dial codes starting with *7.

Same problem for me as *7 was Pickup a parked call. Changed it to *66 and now hotdesking works fine.
