Goormorning
we have a self hosted 3CX PBX updated to latest version
from long time we have activated syslog from the PBX to our log server,
if I look old syslog (about 40 days ago) I found more than 1600 syslog messages like this:
ManagementConsoleJS.Controllers.LoginController[0] LoginException: User or password is invalid from (<some_public_ip>)
last message like that example is about 40 days old then this kind of message no more occured
if I fail a webclient login no message is received on log server, I did more failed attempt so got blacklisted (saw that in console 3cx) but no message about failed login or black list event are sent to syslog
I can see varoius sysrtem messages coming from the 3CX syslog everyday
for example if I fail a login with SSH I correctly receive a syslog mesage on log server
but any syslog for webclient failing console
anyone can clarify that type of message?
what kind of login have to try to reproduce?
how to restore log of failed login attempts to syslog?
Thank in advance
Roberto
