I've got my SMS set up on Telnyx, and I've set it up in Messaging in my 3CX control panel but HOW do I send and receive SMS? I don't see it anywhere in the 3CX app on my phone - it rather asks to enter an extension.

I don't mind reading through some documentation but I wasn't able to find documentation specifically about this.

First of, you need to enable sending in your extension. Console > Users > you > General, scroll down to the bottom, there's the SMS option. Select the DID to use when sending messages.

For receiving, you need to have the Route properly set in the Messaging section. Send it to yourself directly or to a queue with you included in it.

As for the mobile app, once you enable sending, you'll be able to go into Chats > New > Compose SMS. Either select a contact or enter a number to use.

That got it. Thank you very much! It's up and working!
