How do we make the 3CX app report busy during a GSM call? App rings over active cellular calls (Android/IOS)

The problem:
When a user is already on a native GSM/cellular call and a call comes in to their 3CX extension, the 3CX Android app rings/beeps over the active cellular call. What we want is for the extension to report busy while the user is on a native call, so the incoming 3CX call follows the extension's "When busy" forwarding rules.


Steps to reproduce:

1. 3CX app registered on an Android or Apple phone, Telecom API enabled.
2. User is on a normal GSM/cellular call.
3. A third party calls the user's 3CX extension.
4. The 3CX app rings over the active GSM call instead of the caller being routed to the busy destination.

My question:
What is the correct, supported configuration in V20 to achieve this? I understand the old "Busy on GSM call" option was removed with the 3cx app, but how can we enable it again to fix the issue for our customers

I believe this is a design all comm apps use like Whatsapp, Teams etc. they just have to reject the call

Hello @Justfor-DA,

In the Android devices you may disable the Telecom API so you will not receive the call from the 3CX Mobile while you are on a GSM call. Keep in mind though that if there is no other client or IP phone registered for the extension, then the call will be rejected.
For the iOS devices, there is no option to disable this as it is part of the Call Kit rather a 3CX Mobile app option.
