how to add codecs

I would like to know how to add codes. Like iLBC.
And the Speex Codec, what is it Speex FEC or Speex Wideband

In fact what we need is the G723.1 Codec.

Mmh, our cheap Grandstream and also our old Snom has G723. We want to use it also in future

BTW, how much are the fees for implementing G723 in HW or SW? Thinking, less than costs for some hours programming, or not? My boss told me: onetime fee for G723 < 1 EUR per installation .... is he wrong?
