How to add different network address

Hi All,

I'm using 3cx gateway, I have configured server ip as 172.20.1.250 and gateway as 172.20.1.254 and subnet as 255.255.255.0. so now 52 intercoms working with no issues.

But now I want to add more 11 intercoms with 172.21.1.50 to 172.21.1.61

Could you please assist on this?

Is there any particular reason why you want/need to put the new intercoms on a different subnet?

The IP range 172.20.1.0/24 (the /24 means a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0) that you have allows for up to 254 individual IP addresses from 172.20.1.1 to 172.20.1.254. If you want the IP range to cover 172.20.1.250 through to 172.21.1.61 then you will need to change the subnet mask to 255.254.0.0 and will give you 131070 individual IP address in the range 172.20.1.1 to 172.21.255.254.

NB: If you are going to change the subnet mask they you will need to change it on the existing devices first otherwise you will cause yourself a lot of headaches.
