Hi;
I want to change default voice prompts in my system (el 1.6.2-37). I have this voices installed, but I see only the language options for each extensions.
I want to use pl voices for all system messages - for all users and trunks.
How to do this?

In Asterisk Sip Setting (FreePBX/Tools), your language must be pl

I have added language =pl in sip_general_custom.conf, but what about dahdi (I have E1 nad fxs ports) chan_dachdi.conf or dahdi_channels.conf? dahdi.conf?
Which file will be good enough to add "language =" in?

you also should put "language=" in the file chan_dahdi.conf

Hi

I have all those settings and some more!
But the real question is: How can we change the default language?

If in elastix you dont put anything about language in extentions, dahdi, sip, etc, then you have English.
So where is that option that says "use english" if no setting.

I know if i replace the files in English directory then i will have the desired language as default, but then i will loose English.

So is there a better way?

John
