Does 3cx offer a link to click on or any other information on verifying the local network is setup correctly to connect to 3cx hosted service?

There is a test feature in the control panel of on-premise 3CX that test the firewall. Is anything like this available for 3CX hosted service?

I have had a couple of complaints about bad audio on a few calls. Yesterday, late, I disabled SIP inspection in the Cisco ASA5506 firewall, but don't have enough history yet to determine if this was the issue.

Thanks

How are the phones provisioned, guess you have a SBC server if the phones are connected to 3CX hosted.

SBC does not require any port forwarding setup on the firewall - just make sure you allow 3cx tunnel (5090 tcp and udp) and https 443 out.

There is not test application

Yes, SBC. The SBC and the phones are open outbound and inbound on the firewall wall. Don't particularly care to have all ports open, so are the ports you show above the only one actually required?

Thanks.

3CX server needs outbound 3cx tunnel (5090 udp and tcp)

The local network where the sbc server / phone are , needs outbound 443 for phone provisioning, address book and presence info

No portforwarding is required on the firewall

You need to do some basic troubleshooting first and ask yourself some questions.

- Is it every call?
- Can I replicate the problem?
- Does it happen for internal or external calls or both?
- Is this a new install or come out the blue?
- Have you rebooted stuff?
- Can you hear it on recordings?
