how to configure my ATA extension

I got an VOIP gateway with 4FXS and without FXO. I only need to connect it to an extension and a fax. but I have no idea how to cofigure it.

Just reminded that the current version (Build 2434) not support FAX ( T.38 ) machine.

Please let us know the brand and model of your 4FXS gateway.

The VOIP gateway I'm testing is from atcom. AG468 and AG110. AG468 is a 4FXS VOIPgateway and both of these 2 models are support T.38.

I have a VOIP provider with local telephone number. and have 2 softphone extensions that are working well with 3cx phone system. but Now I'd like to add more extensions with VOIP gateway and I don't know how to make it.

Since it's an extension. So in VOIP gateway sip setting. I set server seting as below:

Address: 192.168.0.10 (this is the pc that installed 3cx phone system)
Port:5060
Out Bound proxy IP:192.168.0.1
Out Bound proxy port:5060

RTP Port Number Setting(5000~65535): I leave blank because I don't know.

and In server status,it indicates:
PSTN Lines
10001 Line No: 10001
Status: Not registered

I don't know how to do with that!

Yes. Most VOIP gateway are supported T.38 FAX. However, our 3CX PBX (Build 2434) not support it yet.

If your 3CX installed at PC 192.168.0.10, the Out Bound proxy IP should be 192.168.0.10 as well.

I guess there're some version of 3cx that could support T.38.

if current version could not support T.38. But I can still connect it with 3cx system to extend extensions. Right?

Yes. The T.38 will be supported in future version. Our existing version can fully support SIP FXS gateway which connected with analog phones.

I've figured out the right way to get it done!
Actually it doesn't have to add a pstn line if you only use VOIP provider. simply add extension, and note down the authentication ID and password.

In server field, fill it with the PC IP that with 3cx installed. and in user field ,using the authentication id and password to register it!

I guess there're two bugs that force me back to Asterisk, first: 3cx doesn't support T.38, second: there's a bug in DR so that first time the coming caller input extension number would get invalid input message.

However it's the only version in windows and for simply usage its free edition
would suit for most cases in small or home-base business application.
