I can not get this user to register his extension with 3CX.

bump

are other mobile devices registering properly?
can you connect using telnet to port 5090 to the fqdn of the pbx?

The other users (only 2 others) have no problems with their mobiles, they do not have a Huawei.
I can also set up his EXT on my iPhone with no issue.
after much effort sometimes it will register and it will work. But, for the most part it stays unregistered.

Registering the phone will not need things like Google Play services. So any phone with pure android should be able to register if the connectivity is good. But I assome the P30 lite is a Huawei which still has google play services installed.
Does it make a difference If you use the phone within a known good wifi environment compared against mobile data?
Try to make the test using the phone to telnet to the fqdn of the pbx to port 5090.
If you dont know how to get a terminal prompt on your device, you could install termux from the play store.

Have you tried UDP instead of TCP?

are you using the tunnel?

Google Play Services are required for the mobile app to work correctly. Specially for Push notifications.

However, this phone should have it.

The phone will register without google play. It only will never ring when not in the foreground if no play services are present.

So, if he sits with 3CX open it says ready but doesnt show in 3CX.

As soon as he makes calls it shows as a registered phone

Update: Think i've been barking up the wrong tree by expecting the apps to show as a registered phone all the time when in fact it shows in the list when app is in the forefront or on a call.

I did change the push from own back to 3CX so we'll see how it goes.
