Hi,
We intend to install a i63 door phone, connected to our v18 3CX instance.
My main concern is about the video feature : we do not want to ask users to keep an app or web page opened on their PC, checking who's at the door when the phone rings.
The basic idea is that a pop up window would appear when there is an incoming call from the door phone, with the video. This pop up would be triggered by the 3CX Windows app, or the browser.
Can you confirm this is something doable ?
Thanks !

Hi there.
You will not be able to receive a video call in the Web client if it's not running on the PC. The same thing applies to the Mobile applications.

Hi Oleg,
Thank you for your message, but I'm afraid I don't understand...
The users have a desk phone, and a Windows computer.
What do they need to see the video when someone rings at the door ?

Firstly they will answer the call using their Web client using a supported browser (Chrome/Edge).
After it is answered, they will initiate the video call from the Web client side.

OK. For practical reason, they'd prefer to answer the call using their desk phone, but also have the video on their PC screen.
If the web client is open, will the video window open by itself when answering the call (on their desk phone) ?

It won't work for you this way, as Weblcient is a software solution itself and you can't receive video in Weblcient and audio on the deskphone.
