Solved Inbound calls busy signal

Hello.

I'm fairly new to all of this technology! I've been able to follow basic instructions and videos, to get some phones working(Ext to Ext. only) but I'm having a hard time, being able to receive inbound calls. I've purchased a separate number from the original(first trunk) that I've purchased.

From what I'm gathering, I have to create a trunk(which I have established), then add a DID (the number that I purchased through trunk provider) , and I should be pretty much good to go right? However, I'm still getting a busy signal when I call from an outside number.

Any guidance/help is much appreciated!

Sound like 1 of 2 things, you ether don't have the Trunk setup right and the calls are not going to the pbx, or you have no inbound rules to rout he call's

Here's my setup as of now. I recently had an issue where I couldn't call outbound numbers anymore, but figured out that, I had to change outbound calls to route one from BLOCK to go to my trunk, so you're right in that regard. However, for inbound, I don't see a similar config option to communicate with call coming in.

One thing I want to mention is, when I call my cellular device from my yealink the caller ID shows my original trunks number. However, I can't call back, it says number not in service.

I would see if your DID are setup in SIP.us, I don't think the calls are hitting the pbx

Jjst figured it out. Had to change the trunk from AUTH IP and create a password. Thank you so much
