Why is it so hard to use the Display for information everyone needs?
I want to see who calls me, and If the system knows his name, it would be very desirable to see it because my brain has ownly limited capabilities regarding the memory of 1000 phone numbers.

on the T58 I can see the name most of the time, but not all times. This is because of the real big display. but still the Name is clipped if a little longer. This is absolutely not neccessary there is so much unused room. If only after the name a newline could be made all information will be present.

The W56H will nearly always display no callers name. But also here the display is rather large and would be capable of displaying all information needed.

Hint: A company called Starface has already done it. The name and number will always be in two lines. And will always be visible.

I have attached two screenshots how it currently is shown: T58 and W56

Within 3CX management console - Under Contacts - Options (tab along the top), change the way the system adds the name - Add Group, Queue or DID/DDI Names to Caller ID

Thanks, There is already "prepend" selected. I tried append, but that does not solve the problem that the Software just sends one line to the phone, and the phone will clip this line if it goes out of the bounds of the rectangle of the Window.
The line has to be split in two lines. one for the name, one for the number. Otherwise only a part will be visible.

Please note that this is something that depends on the firmware that the phone is running.
As far as i am aware however in the upcoming Yealink firmware that will probably be the supported for SP5, the info will be shown in 2 lines. I have not seen all phones however so i am not sure how all phones will behave.

Thank you. This is good news!
