Hi Everyone,

I've ran into an issue with a new deployment that has me stumped. We're attempting to forward numbers from another carrier into numbers currently with Flowroute and we are getting a busy signal. The numbers are set and routed, and you can call them fine direct. I've also tested this with other numbers with different carriers to forward with the same issue, so I feel it's got to be a setting within 3CX somewhere we're missing. Any insight would be much appreciated! Thank You.

If you forward calls from other providers to your DIDs entered in 3CX for the flowroute trunk, you will get a source identification issue, as the number in the invite header under the 'To User Part' Sip field will be the number that was dialed, not your DID that you have entered under your flowroute trunk.

Your forwarded DID number will be in the Request Line URI sip field and usually will not be in E164 format. Your only option would be to change the inbound parameters of the trunk settings to check the request line URI sip field for the inbound parameters 'To user part section' and check whether the DID needs to be entered under the flowroute trunk in E164 or not.

Note: This, however, will affect all calls, including those that dial your DID directly and are not forwarded from other providers.

So before doing this, it is best to contact us at 3cx technical support via a ticket to check the settings and exactly what is required so as to advise the correct steps

Thank You Charles. What you are saying makes perfect sense. I'll reach out to 3CX Support direct and get their guidance and follow up on the forums.

Unfortunately I still have not been able to resolve this issue. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Hi, I have the exact same issue. However, I have other customer with Telnyx and there is no problem. Please advice
Thanks

Hi there.
Did you check the parameters of the trunk as well as E164 options on the trunk side as was advised by my сollegue above?

I just submitted a support file to 3CX. The parameters I believe Charles mentioned above cannot be found in v20. Perhaps it will require manual editing of the carrier template once this is pinpointed. I checked other systems and discovered v18 had the settings under the inbound parameters tab.
