Our customer is using a mix of Samsung Xcover 4s and Xcover 5 phones (and has about 80 pcs).
No SIM card installed, since the phones are only used on the internal Wifi network.

In the beginning of the call there is a few seconds delay during which there is no voice.
*777 has the same issue.

We already checked everything: Wifi network, DNS settings, etc. Everything ok. Seperate VLAN for VOIP only with QOS.
When we test with other phones on the same Wifi netwerk (for example an iPhone 10 and a Pixel 4XL) there is no delay whatsover.

All battery saving measures on the Samsungs are disabled, there is no lock screen.

Phones are manged with Esper MDM. There is only one other app installed on the phone.
Latest Android version on the phones, fully updated.

We also tested with non-managed Xcover 5 phones (full factory reset and besides the default apps only 3CX installed).
No differrence.

Is there a known issue with these phones and 3CX?

All tips are welcome...

Update: we also disabled the carkit Bluetooth setting. This seems to improve things but does not completely solve the problem.

Hi @xantip

Thanks for your feedback.

Could you also provide me in PM the app's verbose logs in order to understand what's going on and help you out with your issue?
  1. Enable Verbose Logs: “Android App Settings (top left hamburger menu) > Settings > Advanced > Troubleshooting > Enable verbose logging”.
  2. Reproduce the issue and “Send log report”: Android App Settings (top left hamburger menu) > Settings > Advanced > Troubleshooting > Send Log Report
Thanks
