Integration with Analog PA amplifier

Dear 3CX Support Team,

Can 3CX integrate with an Analog PA amplifier ( 240 W ) for paging solutions?
My customer would like to use with existing analog amplifier with a 3CX phone system.
Can you please kindly advise on this?

Sure. Use something like the Fanvil PA1/2/3 or you could go old school and use an ATA and a Bogen. Then it's just a SIP extension you can call.

It is important to note that the only "supported" environment for something like this (analog gateway to existing amplifier) is if the 3CX server is on-prem.

3CX does not support analog gateways when 3CX is hosted in the cloud. While it may be possible to get a hosted 3CX to work with an analog gateway over a VPN, it does not change the fact that it is not supported configuration.

Typically an analog PA amplifier will have a standard analog port. 3CX can communicate with a SIP-to-Analog gateway. In other words, 3CX talks to the gateway over SIP, and the gateway makes the amplifier look like an analog phone. To page you simply call the extension of the analog "phone/amplifier".
