Integration with Jolly Roger

Hello, I am trying to find the best way to connect to Jolly Roger via SIP.

They provide a SIP direct dial, but thus far have been unable to dial using it.

Any ideas on how to best accomplish this?

I would recommend sticking to a supported SIP trunk provider to avoid any guessing games and be fully supported.

I guess I am asking how to do it. It's not going to be a primary sip trunk service, but rather only for a hand-full of specific extensions that are Jolly Roger

Looking over the site, it appears that the majority (all?) of services they offer, require you to set your provider, to ring them at the same time. They then screen the call, and intercept to an AI, that engages (wastes their time), if required. I'm not sure how settings in 3CX would be involved, nor did I see anything about a "SIP direct dial" feature.
Perhaps If you explain how you intend on using the service, or what the direct dial feature actually does, it would make more sense.

I'd like to setup an extension locally (ex 1234) that forwards to their bots, using that SIP direct dial.

You would have to create a generic SIP trunk, set it to not register, then attempt to send a number such as 3jrt66r-4999 out on that trunk. The rule could be set up so that by dialing , for example, 5555, (or forwarding to that number), the rule would strip the 5555 and substitute the desired number.

I'm not certain that rules will send the dash, if required, you will have to test.
