Integration with other windows based software

Hi we use a proprietary software which is windows based I would like to suggest to the developers about incorporating calling out via 3CX (as the outlook functionality.)
Can you please let me know if this possible and forward me any information , so I may pass this on

There's a makecall page which can be called very easily. See here http://www.3cx.com/manual/3CXPhoneSystemManual6/phone-system73.html for details.

Version 7 makes the move to .net and there has been some discussion re: providing a web service interface to allow easier integration of third party applications. The makecall api mentioned above is quite cool. You place the call, it causes your phone to ring, you pickup your phone and hear something like "please wait while I try that number" and the call is placed. Implementing using this interface is quite trivial. We'll be integrating the option into our internal helpdesk software in the near future.
