hi all

i was wondering if i can use elastix to make interactive ivr , i mean when the caller enter code then ivr will provide him with numbers or text automatically

for example we have this data

id Name address phone number

1234 Buzz Spain 89797979
2345 any usa 23463264
3456
4567

what I'm looking for is to make the caller enter the id then the ivr will provide him with name, address and phone number automatically

is there any ability to do this ??

Yes You can have one IVR go to another IVR in a tree like this example

Press 1 for USA
Press 2 for Canada
Press 3 for Mexico

(1) Your rep is Bill Smith his phone is.......

thank u for ur reply , but it isn't what i'm looking for , for example i want to insert a database in elastix and i want ivr to look in the database for a specific id then automatically tell the caller the rest of data

for example if the caller enter the code 1234 to ivr , then the ivr will look in the database and reply "Your name is Buzz and Your location is Usa and you telephone number is 89797979"

can anyone help me in this plz ??

Sure, you can do it, but you will need more work to do, you will need need to use an AGI, a DB connection to mysql, and some TextToSpeech application like festival.
