Hi there, I am wanting to know if it is possible to setup a intercom to play a message and then hang-up, presently it is setup as a voicemail however this means that is stays active after the initial message is played waiting for something to be left. All I want is the intercom to play the message and then hang up. it is a FANVIL i10vthat is setup with its own extension and the added to a ring group where it is the only member and has been setup with its own custom voicemail message against the ring group.

Thank you

Roy

Hi @Roy Finch,

One method of accomplishing this would be by creating a CFD. I'll move this post to the CFD Forum in order for you to receive expert advice with regards to setting this up.

Hi @Roy Finch,

You can easily do this as follows:
1) Create a Digital Receptionist that plays the message you want to hear. Configure it to drop the call at the end.
2) Create a CFD app having a single Make Call component. Configure this compoent with:
Origin = the intercom extension
Destination = the Digital Receptionist extension (created in step 1)
3) Build and deploy the CFD app to the 3CX Console > Advanced > Call Flow Apps.
4) Call the CFD app's extension number, the call will be dropped, and the CFD app will initiate a new call between the intercom an DR extensions.

How are you doing this? Are you uploading the ZIP file generated by the CFD during build? Or are you zipping the project and trying to upload it?

zipping the project and trying to upload it, how do i do it from CFD during build?

That's not the way. You need to go to the menu Build > Build All. A ZIP file will be generated inside the folder Output\Release of your CFD project. That's the file you need to upload.

Right thank you got that and last thing should I be seeing Warning: Main flow for 'Dialer1.dialer' has no enabled components. (file Dialer1.dialer) in the CFD project, or have i missed something?

Why do you have a dialer in your project? You should have a single callflow. Remove the dialer from the Project Explorer.

opps forgot that when messing around I have removed it, thank you. working now

Would just like to say a big thank you properly for all your help, this is all working correctly now:)
