Good Afternoon all,

We have 2 Comelit door bell at work place and i have just managed to set them up as our intercom. Meaning when someone rings the bell outside, my extension number ring in the office therefore i know there is someone is outside. I can pick up the phone and talk which they can hear what i say but unfortunately i can not hear what they say. Has anyone got any idea, why would that be ?

I have set the doorbells as an extension and i have enable all the permissions. Please have a look at the screenshots to warn me if i am missing something here.

Kind Regards
Taz

1. Where is the 3CX hosted? On-prem, cloud or hosted with 3CX?

2. How are the devices and your phone connected to the PBX? SBC, STUN or local?

3. What phone are you using? And what firmware? Is it provisioned with the official 3CX template?

Hi Fredrick,

I hope you are ok and thanks for the quick reply. Here are the answers of your questions,

1- Cloud
2- I am not sure how the devices connected as they have a software called VIP, when you enter the extension number and the SIP password, it started to work. I can see the door bells on my phone list but they are listed as unprovisioned. I was thinking that might be the problem but the system is partially working. here is another screenshot

3- the extension number it rings is Yealink T-46G and it has provisioned using the official 3CX template.

Kind Regards

Okay. You are clearly using STUN here since the IP is public.

First, make sure the config on your doorbells are correct. You can copy the yealink config from the Web UI (ports, headers, STUN server, etc.).

You might also need to enable "PBX Delivers Audio" on each extensions (under Options -> Troubleshooting)

The call routing part, is getting through, it is the voice packets, one direction, that do not appear to be doing so. As suggested above, provide additional information about how your system is set up.

See...

And for starters...have you successfully run the 3CX Firewall Checker?

Hi Leejor,

Thank you for your reply. Yes the Firewall checker is successfully run.

Kind Regards

Thank you Frederick, You have been unbelievably helpful. 'PBX Delivers Audio' wasn't ticked and after ticking that, it started to work.

Thank you so much.

Kind Regards
