On other systems like IP Office, I can turn on twinning. This can be internal or external. I can see you have a feature where you can twin with your mobile, but can I twin with another internal extension?

So if I had a DECT for instance, and the maintenance man wanted his desk phone and DECT phone to ring simultaneously? Or a manager/secretary scenario, where the manager's phone always rings his secretary too?

Or is the only way to create a Ring Group and to add them both in it?

Ring group or simply forking with 2 devices on one extension.

What is forking with two devices on one extension?

It looks like SIP Forking when a desk phone rings, it can ring a mobile app and softphone too. Which I am aware of, but I want the same number to ring on 2 desk phones. So will this need to be a Ring group?

SIP Forking can ring on two deskphones.

It doesn't matter how many phones or mobile apps or anything like that.

Forking is just forking.

How do I configure Forking on 2 Desk phones? Nothing comes up in docs when I search forking. And your link doesn't give instructions on how to do it.

@ConceptsWeb is right, we do this all the time while you can only provision one account/extension per desk phone in 3CX management you can go into on the admin portal on the phone and add additional accounts. For some Dect phones this can be done through 3CX management portal.

I'm still not seeing how I do it ? is there instructions anywhere on how to set it up on two desk phones?

Simply configure multiple deskphones on one user using the IP Phone tab. Provisioning is done automatically for supported phones.

Not what he meant. He meant 1 user many phones. Not 1 phone many users.

Sorry I took it as one phone two extensions, one secretary, line 2 manager:

If this is the case provision the phone as usual, then go into the phone web portal and add the lines account info manually from the 3CX portal. Keep in mind that you must leave the BLF that corresponds to the line you added manually blank, or provisioning will write over it...
