Internal users not showing up at the top of the search list on V18 like they did on V16

Why has this changed? Is it possible to change it so that if you search for a name, it'll have all the internal users of your company at the top? We have thousands of CRM customers on our webclient and when searching for a common name we're forced to scroll down just to find the person we want to call in our company....

On V16, all internal users were automatically at the top, all my users now complaining they have to scroll and look through loads of names....

Hi @Erminijus,

You can, in V18 Update 2 onwards we've introduced the 'Show personal contacts / Hide personal contracts'. Go ahead and update to Update 2 and you should be able to use this feature.

Additionally, you may find use of the new "Sort extensions by number" check box that is under Settings --> View.

Sorry, I might have forgotten to say that the contacts that are showing up first are part of the global contact list and the two suggested fixes don't seem to apply to these.

Please see the attached. It works the same way on both the webclient and the desktop app. On V16, it always use to put internal users at very top of the search results

That is correct, it is how it is for now. If you'd like to submit a feature request, feel free to do so by contacting a 3CX Partner to escalate the feature request on your behalf.
