iOS 3CX mobile app Teams users, caller will route to voicemail. The end user hears 3 beeps and then gets a disconnect.

Only recently has this issue started. With 3CX integrated with Teams, sometimes when answering a call using 3CX Mobile app on iOS devices, the person answering the call will hear 3 beeps and the call will disconnect. The caller experiences the call going straight to Voicemail.

3CX Hosted system version 20.0 Update 5 Build 551

Anyone experience this issue? It is isolated to iOS and Teams integrated users only. Tried many different iPhone models and versions.

Is the voicemail disabled in Teams for the user?

yes, per the Teams integration, the Teams VM has been disabled completely. iOS/Teams sees the calls as "busy" it seems, and thus routes to 3CX coverage instead.
