iOS / Android block ex-employee

We use a fixed set of 100 extensions for employees. If an employee leaves, a new one is hired and he/she will get the extension of the ex-employee.

How can we make sure that the ex-employee does not have access to the extension anymore? If we change the password or press the "Regenerate" button on this extension the mobile clients (iOS and Android) will just reprovision and have access again.

You can try deselecting "Re-provision phone on startup" under extension > phone provisioning > 3CX client. After that do the regeneration and logically I think this would work.

I'd also try deleting the extension and recreating.

** I haven't tested either of these methods but they are worth a shot. I would like to hear back what your solution to this issue is as well.

I manually change the password myself to something random, then resend a welcome email. This works for our softphones and prevents the old 3CX iOS client from connecting, even though Re-Provision Phone on Startup is ticked (as it doesn't have the new password).

In another thread HERE, it was mentioned that the best way to achieve this is by deleting and recreating the extension itself.
