IP Blacklisted for no apparent reason

Hello!
I was messing about the 3CX menu system, trying to reconnect an IP phone. I clicked a menu, and got logged out. I assumed that my login expired, and when I tried to log back in it says IP blacklisted (see picture) I'm seriously considering switching to another PBX system as this isn't the first issue I have with 3CX.

Is the phone you were trying to connect behind the same pubic IP that you are attempting to login from? Perhaps try connecting by tethering through your Mobiles data in the meantime.
Blacklisting parameters can be changed (relaxed), to a point, but they are there to keep your system safe, as hackers are constantly attempting to gain entry.

The IP Phone itself has no public IP, only a private one. I’m unable to tether mobile data as this is a business-level network, quite hard to do it. I wasn’t even trying to log in, I don’t see why I would get IP blacklisted.

If the set, and the device you are attempting to log in on are on internal (private) IPs, then I would whitelist the local network. I have had devices, in the past, cause themselves to be blacklisted, for some reason, repeatedly. Very annoying. As I'm not concerned with a hacker using a local IP, I just whitelisted my local LAN. You might have to wait for the blacklist to expire, or change the IP of the login device. Once in, and if you have access to the 3CX Activity Log, you might want to go back to see why the blacklisting happened.

ok but you’re using a Free/SMB account, hosted by 3CX, right? And the phone has Internet access?

Had you updated the phone firmware first before connecting it? Are you connecting it as a router phone aka direct connect?
