I am having a problem adding Yealink SIP-T54W Phone to 3CX SMB Only Hosted Edition. I go to User, IP Phone, add phone, select the mode Yealink SIP-T54Wl, add the mac address. then next, then I copy the auto provision URL and copy, the login into the SIP-T54W phone, go to setting, auto provision section, then paste the URL previously copied, click confirm and then click auto provision button. Restart the phone, but it is still showing no service and then the login password for the phone changes to I don’t what ( tried the 3CX allocated profile ID and password, and the extensionIID password, which do not work.i have tried added the SIP-T54W as its own SBC and also used the Windows SBC which is registered and status green.

I also have an windows SBC which is registered. I have tried to added other Yealink SIP-T42G to the windows SBC but it will not work.

All uses are working fine via the softphone app, but not the handsets.

Can you please assist.

Regards,
Robert

Check the phone has the latest firmware before starting, or it may blacklist your IP. You should not need to manually enter anything in the phone. You do need to set up at least one phone per location as a router phone a.k.a. "connect directly," or else use an SBC, both of which will proxy the phones to the server.

Thank, I have noticed this version there is no setting to stop the IP Address from being blacklisted. Also the phone login password changes, can you please advise what password should I use, without reseting the phone. . Regards,

Thanks again, I have updated the phones to the latest firmware, reset settings to factory default , then re-add the phones to the selected user and they still have no service. Thanks

Did you add them either as Direct(Router Phone) OR Via SBC?

It is possible your IP was already blacklisted, which would need you to unplug the phones, wait 24h for blacklist to clear and go again. First do an SBC (either standalone or router phone), then proceed adding the rest once that is up.

If you cannot get an SBC connected the problem is likely in your own local network.

Where did you get the firmware from?
You MUST use 3cx FW NOT OEM.

Definitely sounds FW related to me..

Thankyou, the IP Address has been blacklisted for 5 days, can you please unlisted it ?

You need to unplug the phones and also disconnect apps etc if they are failing to log in.

The blacklisting is there to protect all users of the system. You need to make sure all devices that are problematic in that location are switched off the network, and then start slowly, SBC first then one device at a time, to make sure they are getting configured properly. For IP Phones, I would advise you factory reset them, add them on 3CX portas as connected via the SBC and then hook them onto an active network.

The network has been blacklisted from the 3CX Portable for over 7 days. Can you please take https://1462.3cx.cloud/#/login off the blacklist

Hello @RobertSe ,

In order to help with this please follow the below steps and confirm that they have all been done.

  1. Factory reset all IP phones.
  2. Delete any apps from mobile devices.
  3. Switch off all IP Phones.
  4. Switch off SBC - if possible reset its config too if it is not a router phone SBC, that is already wiped from steps 1& 3.
  5. Get the IP address of the location where the SBC and phones will be, and send it to me via direct message:

After the above are done, I will confirm the IP is out of the blacklist, and we can do the steps to get everything going again.

Best,
KS.

Hi,

We saw that the blacklist was getting triggered from a T42G Yealink that was configured as direct, not via the SBC.

The blacklist is now cleared.

Steps:
  1. Log in to PBX
  2. Clear all phones from the system, delete from users, and any Router phones in Voice & Chat
  3. If you do have a router phone to set up, do it first
    1. go to user add phone MAC
    2. Choose Connect directly
    3. Switch phone on / plug in
    4. Wait for it to be fully up, might reboot a few times.
  4. For standard phones, one by one after you verify any SBCs are up and green.
    1. Go to user, add phone MAC
    2. Choose Connect via SBC / Router
    3. Switch phone on / plug in
  5. Repeat for all phones.

Thankyou. I have followed these steps. I have setup Yealink T54W as an SBC but it does not register (go green), I . I have tried to upgrade the firmware several times, but it becomes stuck in the firware update for hours and never completes the update. have also setup another SBC on a Windows 2016 Servers which is Green and registered. I have been blacklisted again. Please help

Hello,

Please check with Yealing on the firmware issue. You might need to do intermediate upgrade steps - ideally firmware should be updated before trying to connect the phone. 3CX supported firmware can be found at: https://www.3cx.com/docs/phone-firmwares/

W have updated the phones to the latest firmware

I have tried to upgrade the firmware several times, but it becomes stuck

Which? ;) (and, which version is on the phone now?)

If you have another working SBC, and the phone is "recent enough" firmware you could also try connecting it as a regular phone, upgrade the firmware through 3CX, then delete and factory reset the phone and set it up again.

Having old firmware will often blacklist phones configured as router phones.
