Hi Having issues with conference participants on iPhones in that their transmitted volume is very quiet.
Some worse than others, but all are quiet.
There are not extension users on the 3CX but external parties invited to a video conf.

If there a setting somewhere? I can't find anything and can't see why it would only be iPhones?

Thanks!

Hi Dave,

Are you referring to a Webmeeting session, where the participants join in using the iPhone app?

And where are you joining from? A desktop for example?

Yes the 2 iPhone users are usinmg the app for a WebMeeting

I was using a Windows laptop

Cheers

dave

Would you also say that other users in the meeting using PCs or dial-in were noticeably more audible?

Yes 100%

1 other person in meeting on a Windows laptop was considerably louder.
To the point where they were probably too loud as the vloume was on max to hear the iPhone users.

I would also add these are sceduled conferences rather than on the fly webmeetings, if that makes a difference

Thanks for reporting, we will check further.

Upon further investigation we cannot replicate the issue.

The iPhone users as well as the desktop users had the same volume in the webmeeting. Android users also had the same volume.

Do you still face the issue or was just a single occurrence?

Hi John

No happens every time.
Could it be a particular model or IOS version?
Or just a faulty phone?

If we are talking about specific participants with a specific model only then perhaps. Do you have others in your company that use an iPhone? Just to test with a different model too and have a comparison.

Also again for comparison, do other desktop-based participants complain about the same thing with those specific iPhone users? Just trying to eliminate the possibility of any specific combination of headset PC users VS specific iPhone model users
