The last two updates I did to 3CX caused all my Cisco SPA-514G phones with a SPA500DS expansion module to get added to the blacklist with the reason "PBX: blocked for too many failed authentications".

This only occurred with the phones using the expansion sidecar. All the phones without the expansion sidecar did not have this issue. I believe this also happened in v14 but I am not 100% certain. Does anybody know why this would be happening?

Here is a screenshot of the IP blacklist: http://screencast.com/t/zjnoNwTMO
Here is a screenshot of the phone when it was blacklisted: http://screencast.com/t/heUe3VkH
Once I removed the blacklisted IP, the sidecar had all green indicators, but the phone was still not registered: http://screencast.com/t/ON852Zg7q

I then restarted the phone it and started working properly.

Thanks,
Christopher

Hi,
Go to Activity Log and check the reason why PBX is blacklisting your Cisco Devices.

Also, are you using 3CX Default Shipped Templates or some custom one?
What firmware are you using?

Thanks

Hi Michael,

Here is what the activity log shows: http://screencast.com/t/f7OEgI0x
It shows "Too many failed auth".

There are several different firmware versions being used between all the phones that were affected. Here they are:
7.6.1
7.5.5
7.5.4
7.5.2

I am using the default provisioning template that came when I installed. It is called "cisco_sidecarSPA50X.ph.xml". I've attached it for your reference.

I don't know how it could be blocked for too many failed authentication attempts but once I un-blacklist and restart the phone it authenticates properly.

Also could you please show a screenshot how you configured you Anti-Hacking?
