I know I can set up a WebMeeting that allows participants to call in, but I'd like to be able to use my existing 3CX SIP system to call a telephone number from within the WebMeeting so that participants can hear the telephone call. We have one participant who must be called, as they are not permitted to call out. I know this is possible with Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Can 3CX do it?

Hi,

Try calling the user then put them on hold.

Then dial the conference extension and enter the Conference ID to join the correct room

Transfer the user on hold into the conference

Thank you. Your solution does work, but it also requires the person I'm calling to be the one to enter the conference ID, after I transfer the call to the conference extension. Unfortunately, I am calling into a courtroom and cannot ask the court to dial an ID. I need to just be able to transfer to conference and have that be good enough.

Perhaps I should have been more clear, sorry about that.

If you blindly transfer them to 700 they will have to enter a code indeed.

What I meant was, swap back to the person on hold, then transfer them not to 700, but to the active 2nd call you have already established with 700. That's the key difference.
