Hi, this should be very doable, even if not 100% officially supported hardware. From the age of your post I can't tell if this is still active topic for you or not. I've setup a few ~generic SIP devices on 3cx over the last few years and generally it works fine, I've got a Sipura-Cisco-Linksys - similar to yours I think - in service for example and it 'just works'. You will need to know your 3cx server public FQDN = "proxy/SIP server' for the Sipura config. USER_ID is your EXT# and password - will be - as per the setup panel for your ext - softphone for 3cx. You also do need the "AUTH ID" and tell the siupra "YES" to use this (ie, not default I believe). I'm pretty sure after that you should be golden. Device will register, have a dialtone, and pass inbound/outbound calls.

You can set up the Linksys PAP2 with 3CX. It's an older device, but it still works for basic SIP calls. You'll need to input the SIP settings, such as the server, credentials, and extension info. Just note that it won’t support all of 3CX’s advanced features, but it should work for simple calls.

i think i got the point i will see how can make that done
thanks for the tips

OK, hope it goes well. Maybe if you have success / maybe you can concise summarize back to the thread what your config hints are / so others in future might benefit from the knowledge. Thanks! -Tim

This device would have to go through a 3CX SBC or router phone to connect and work properly.

many things went wrong it do not have FQDN option and it suddenly it's not letting me access the settings page and it do not have a clear way to factory reset or any press hiding or inside. seems it failed unless i could find a way to factory reset the device

hi, so I am really not sure. Possibly you may wish to do a reset on the device, I would recommend you do some google search and see if anything looks relevant for your particular part. For example maybe? this process will be relevant (? > https://wiki.voip.ms/article/Cisco_Linksys_PAP2T#Linksys_PAP2T_ATA_Adapter_Reset_Procedure )

if you can get a reset done, you might want to see if there is a 'newer' firmware than what you had on the device
or maybe not

alternately, you may wish to try hitting the webadmin page of the device from a different browser / incognito session in case some odd behaviour in browser web-admin/cached stuff is causing odd behaviour (ie, admin sign in not visible ?) to the rendering of the web admin page.

Sometimes these units are shipped 'locked' to a specific carrier with admin access locked out, but the fact (I think?) you originally had admin access implies this was not the case here for your particular device.

worst case it can become a conversation piece paperweight etc. and you can buy a new part and move along that way.

lots of fun.
