Hello,
I would like to report a bug regarding the speakerphone volume in the 3CX iOS application. After the most recent update (installed yesterday), we are experiencing significant issues with the audio level when switching to speaker mode.

Problem Details
When switching an active call from the earpiece to the speakerphone, the audio output is extremely quiet. This happens even when the iPhone volume is set to the maximum level. Surprisingly, the caller is heard more clearly through the standard earpiece than through the speakerphone, which should be much louder.

Environment
The problem has been confirmed on two different devices running the latest iOS:

iPhone 16 Pro

OS: iOS 26.4

3CX App Version: 5.5 (Build 147), 20.0.19.147

iPhone 14 Plus

OS: iOS 26.4 (a)

3CX App Version: 5.5 (Build 147), 20.0.19.147

Additional Information
This issue was not present before the latest update.

We have tested this on multiple calls, and the behavior is consistent.

Question to Support: Could the recent update (released/downloaded 1 day ago) have impacted the audio routing or gain levels for the speakerphone mode?

Nope - we would have announced.

Do you by chance know how long the apple update will take so i can advise to customers having this issue as we are getting calls on this too. Thank you for your help

@jessicaNN_Tech
Just got approved, so most likely tomorrow morning we'll publish on AppStore (it's past midnight here)

Thank you, update fix the issue, speaker phone is back to normal, no echo as well.

For reference, to revert to the release branch, in the Apple Testflight app, tap the 3CX entry, and at the bottom click to Stop. In the App Store search and redownload the 3CX app (it should have the little cloud+arrow icon showing it was previously installed). This installed over the test version and retained my accounts.

@SteveITS
You don't have to "in the Apple Testflight app, tap the 3CX entry, and at the bottom click to Stop", would be a bad practice. It's your advice, but I'm highy against it. You don't have to "Stop" anything, AppStore-TestFlight they simply overwrite the installed app, preserving your app data. We're doing this since many years ago.

Same here, waiting for notification of update to the App store

It should be there already? App Store > click your initials (circle, upper right) > Updates > pull the page down to update the list of available app updates. Or on prior versions the "Updates" menu isn't there, just pull the page down.

Thank you very much, is there a possibility we can setup some kind of partner testing program before these major updates ship out to customers so we can help be a part of the QA process?

If you stay on Testflight it should prompt to install any updates released along the way.
