Using the dial-in will use 2 SC per joined person.

1 call from the user (external or internal) to the 700 extension, 1 call from the 700 to the WebMeeting trunk (connection to your meeting ID).

It also count as a participant in the WebMeeting, which is limited to either 250 or the limit your license has.

Yeah, or even internally. You have to take that into consideration.

Unless that changed. I would test it. It might be using 2 SC for the 1st person then only 1 SC each other. Since technically, you could need only the call between the bridge and the 700; then the calls between users and 700 ext. This would take less SC.

Okay so I did some testing and the case is this:
First Caller calls in to audio side and there are 2 calls taken up.
Next Caller takes up one additional call and so on. So if you have 8 SC, then you can have 7 External Callers.

Why do you say that? 250 participants are a lot and only dial-in are counted in SC. You can have 250 web participants with audio from their computer and you won't use any SC.

I agree. It should be written somewhere, but it is the 3CX way. You pay per SC. If you know you have many users using the dial-in, then get a bigger license.

Sorry it wasn't clear enough, I will attempt to provide some clarifications:

This feature is included for free in all editions of 3CX, labelled for Web based conferencing. Look under the Office Productivity heading here to see the seats offered per license type, but you get 25 as a bare minimum: https://www.3cx.com/ordering/pricing/

As for anything that has to do with SIP-based calls (and that that includes dial in participants) our pricing model is based on the number of simultaneous calls you buy and this is how we make money with our product.

So any participant that dials in will use up a sim. call, and the webmeeting bridge (which is also a SIP endpoint internally) will also use up one call to do the job of connecting the callers to the the webmeeting servers.

If you choose to use web-based conference only, you pay nothing basically for up to 25 seats. If you want to use anything that has to do with SIP calls, then you get up to 8SC for free in V16.

Finally if all the above is not enough for your needs, then it's time to purchase a license. We will be happy to clarify any questions you have before buying a license.
