Hi there guys,

When I try to install Elastix 2.0.3 or 2.2.0 I can't because while loading drivers and OS system it says:

"kernel panic not syncing attempted to kill init"

What should I do?

It is most likely hardware/bios related.

Have you tried (have you got) the ability to switch on ACHI mode on in your BIOS (likely to be under HD controller or similar area??

Do you have a PATA/SATA compatibility mode (instead of Enhanced Sata mode)??

Also do you currently have a telephony card in the machine, try taking it out for at least the install, and boot up.

Turn off what you don't need in the BIOS (e.g. turn off USB ports, serial, parallel etc)

You need to at least get to working point and work back at what is causing it....

Regards

Bob
