Hi,

A client asked the following question:
Can they change the incoming calls to a specified queue/extension when they want to.
When you call to the number of the company you get an ivr. But if they are not at the office they will have a speed dial to forward all incoming calls to ex. 801 or a mobile phone.

The client don't want to use the 3cx portal.
They want to use *...* instead.

Can you help me?
Thanks!

You cannot do it directly from the Webclient.

However, you can use a dummy extension with statuses, OR, even easier, use two CFDs: 1 to toggle the mode and saves it to a Parameter, then the second one gets the parameter and routes the inbound calls accordingly.

Thanks for your respons.

You mean create 2 CFD's with the different flows.
If the user want to change they can change it to the other CFD with a speed dial or not?

Thanks!

Not what I said.

1 CFD is used to set the parameter to "true" or "false".

1 CFD is then used to query that parameter and route the calls accordingly. You simply set that CFD as destination for the inbound rule.

From there, yes the users can have a simple speed dial to toggle the re-routing.

I will take a look at the CFD.
