Lift handset to dial

Hi all, when I use the Windows Desktop app to dial a number, the phone plays the "on hold" music, but doesn't dial until I lift the handset. Can someone please let me know how to set up the app/phone so it dials when I choose a contact, without having to lift the handset? Thank you!

Is the Desktop App configured to use CTI / CSTA?

Can you confirm that you're using the new Desktop App, or the legacy Windows Client?

Hi Vasilis,

I'm using the desktop app, but not sure which version it is. I've asked our IT support people to check and update if necessary. I can confirm the app is configured to use CTI. Our IT support have given me a workaround, which is to press the speaker button on the phone after dialling, but this is just the same as lifting the handset really.

Hi Vasiliv, the app looks like it's dialled, there are no messages displayed. The red "hang up" button doesn't do anything either, I have to hang up on the phone itself
