Linked Server

I am using Npgsql and am able to read the PostGres data base phonesytem, when logged in as logsreader. There is no problem here

However I am unable to create a linked server with my SQL Server 2005 Management Studio and use either the Npgsql or the ODBC driver for PostGres

Can some body guide me on how to create the linked server
