We have set up a 3cx at a customer's site and it is giving occational bad quality voip calls.
I am now beginning to suspect the router. We use a Draytek Vigor 2820 which is not full cone nat (restricted cone apparantly), also I've just read that Draytek have just released new firmware for it that corrects voip passthorugh issues. However as it is not completely compatible, we are going to replace it.
I am now looking to replace the Draytek with a router that is compatible with the 3CX. Looking through this forum, it appears that 3CX recommend the Linksys WRV200.
We would also like to use it's vpn capability for remote hard phone extensions.
Is anyone else using the WRV200 router and does it work well with the 3cx ?
Thanks - htcomm
