Hello,

We have a client who has an internet link and he regularly suffers cuts of a few seconds (we can't do otherwise, it's the problem of this country...)

The 3CX server is located outside in a datacenter.
3CX server: v18.0 build 461 (linux) enterprise

This customer uses the desktopapp 18 softphone.

During these interruptions, it loses the communication in progress.
Is it possible to refine the 3CX settings so that during these interruptions, the call is not interrupted and when the softphone reconnects it recovers the automatic call?

Thank you for your help.

Sincerely

They could use the reception view to park and pickup the call again.

Small correction.

After testing, I realize that the call does not cut off immediately.

I reproduced a 10s cut during a call, after that, the interlocutor and me are again on line and we can dialogue and a few seconds after the call cuts.

I think that is going to be tricky, and there may not be a simple solution. It all depends on what the device, server, and provider does, when the internet is cut, and the type of interruption. If it simply sits and waits, not realizing that a network connection has failed, then the call may be re-connected, when the network connection is re-established. But if there is a realization that service has gone down, and a re-registration is warranted, then the call will probably be lost.
