Just installed V15.
Tried to start management console.

This site can’t be reached
localhost refused to connect.

Any help.
Thanks

What browser you used?
Also can you replace localhost with the ip address of the machine? See if that works or not.
Then can you try one of the FQDN's you entered at setup..
Can you try from another machine?
Is this a cloud machine or in your current lan?

This site can’t be reached
localhost refused to connect.

Using Windows 7.
https://local3CXip:5001/#/ - same result.
Replace localhost with the ip address of the machine - same result.
Using Chrome - Firefox gives same result.
In Task Manager only 3CX services running are Database Server and Event Notification Manager.
Is this correct.
Also rebooted PC - same result.

Can you go into services.msc and start the 3CX which are not running

Look in event logs, may help you way the services are not starting

Then you have services that did not start - no this is not normal. All services on a clean install should be up and running.

What did you do last? Did you update or just fresh install?
Get the services one by one and start them.
Let me know which services do not start

Uninstalled V12.
New V15 install.

In the configuration tool selected 1 to use browser.

services.msc

Services with automatic startup type are running except for Phone System 01 Audio Provider.
When I try to start it - Error 1068 The dependency service or group failed to start.
The services with manual startup type start and the stop or give the same error message.

Thanks so far.

This is a typical scenario when you leave a software there from over 7 years ago, (with installation issues of 7 years ago) and then you install the modern alternative.

God knows what that un-installation left behind.. It was not designed to be uninstalled NOW against modern OS with Latest updates. (unless your OS is also archaic). In that case make sure you install latest updates for the new version at least.

V12 was designed to be uninstalled round about year 2014.

So when you remove a software like this, late (like years later) then please run a sanity check and restart this OS between installations.

Update the thread of the post to something like this:

I uninstall V12. I install V15, Services do not start.

That sound much fairer

Before reinstalling, delete all 3CX folders in c:\programdata, c:\program files and c:\program files(x86)

also make sure win is fully updated with MS patches

Would this be because that a old IIS is answering the request? If this is the case, Uninstall IIS or chance the bindings on the default website

Uninstalled V15.
Found 1 3CX folder in c:\programdata, c:\program files and c:\program files(x86) and deleted it which was empty anyway.
Went to reinstall V15.
Read during install that installing on a machine that has microsoft sql server installed is not supported.
Does not supported mean it will not work.
Checked and microsoft sql server is installed.
Cancelled install.
There are 24 items of sql server in uninstall programs.
I don't know why microsoft sql server is installed.
What is microsoft sql server used for and can I uninstall.
Thanks from a old novice.

Edit. A search indicates that microsoft sql server would have been installed with a Visual Studio install.
The question remains can I uninstall it.
Thanks

Only you can answer this question,

Does the PC host any SQL databases , if not then you can uninstall this application.

You may be better off, doing a fresh reinstall of Win 7 - does the machine have a recovery option where you can reinstall Win7 ?
