One approximation is to create an extension and forward it. So:
First Name: SP0
Extension #: doesn't matter
Forward to: SP0 (both available and busy)
It will be disconnected/offline all the time, but one can transfer to SP0 to park and dial that extension to pick it up.
To clarify this bit I wrote for posterity, the "SP0" has to be uppercase. In other words one can actually dial "SP0" from any phone as long as one can dial uppercase letters. Repeat for other SP numbers. There's no way to see if someone is already parked this way but it functions to park or pick up a call if you know which one to call.

For those asking about the iOS app it released yesterday.

Hi,

After updating to the latest version the app keeps reconnecting.
This is for both ios and android.
On the previous versions of the app this is not happening.

With kind regards,

Could you please check that port 5090 for TCP and UDP is open on the PBX? You could check UDP with the Firewall Checker. Note the Firewal Checker only checks UDP, so for TCP you would have to use some other service to check.

Also in case you are wondering "but it worked before", the Tunnel always used both UDP and TCP, but we are not relying more on both.

Hi Nick,

UDP was indeed not open on the firewall for port 5090, the netwerk engineer opened the port but it's still not working.
Firewall check fails on the tunneling proxy.

What do you mean with the sentence below
Tunneling port used tcp and udp before and now it only uses UDP?

No, it still uses both, but we optimized the Tunnel traffic to improve he performance of client, that's why the behavior hcnages slightly causing the problem you faced.

Anyhow, I am sending you a PM now about this.

Does this release fixes the issue with the beep-sound on iOS devices?

Is this referring to when a call is disconnected or beeping while during a call?

If you're thinking about "speed-dial" buttons, then you already have such thing in the clients: it's called "Favorites". And for Shared Parking buttons, this feat is "in consideration"
Shared parking would be a really powerful feature :)
At the moment for each install I have to create dummy extensions for each shared parking bay.

We also believe a Shared Parking feature in the smartphone apps would be very helpful.
