Messaging option not available

Hey,

Something went wrong with management console. Messaging option on the left is not there anymore and "enable sms" option in general settings of extension is also gone. These options where available for this particular system 4 days ago.

With the latest version of 3cx, update 5 and above, SMS needs to configured via a supported sip trunk provider. See the guide here: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual-u5/sms-text/

So you have already configured SMS using a supported SIp trunk, as shown on your screenshot. Why are you now looking for a messaging tab?

Maybe let us know what exactly is not working for you.

In messaging tab there are options of live chat and facebook sms, if messaging option is not there that means i can't access live chat and facebook option as well.
Also under "enable sms" option in extension settings I can set "send sms via xyz number" so now I can't access that option as well.

Regarding SMS routing options, please read this guide for update 5: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual-u5/sms-text/ and for update 6, see this guide: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/sip-trunks/

Note: With Update 6 there is no longer a requirement to route the DID from the extensions settings, but rather you can direct an SMS DID from an inbound rule to a group of which the extension is a member to receive SMS and will automatically use that DID to send SMS from.

okay thank you. this is in update 6?
I've a system where we had assigned DIDs to call queues. Now let's say extension A is part of 2 different queues with 2 different DIDs. If A wants to send SMS (start a conversation) then his SMS will go through which DID? Previously we had option to select "send SMS via xyz number".
