3CX is running fine on a Raspberry PI. I recently bought some faster hardware and like to migrate 3CX to it. What I did:
1. Started a backup on the old platform
2. Installed 3CX on the new platform
3. Started 3CX on the new hardware m with the --cleanup parameter
4. Uploaded the recently made backup
5. Pressed next
6. And then the following error occured:

Product cannot be activated because license key is for a previous version. Upgrade license key or purchase maintenance from https://customer.3cx.com/orderform/default.aspxThe
The IP address, gateway etc is the same (the MAC address offcourse not).

When I log into the support portal I see that the license is still valid for 487 days from now, but I cannot activate it on the new hardware. The backup version is 16.0.8.9

Because the 3cx on the new hardware is not started (debian), I cannot read the version in the management portal.

You should not be running any commands to re-launch the 3CX Installation Wizard.

The correct way to do it would be the following:

1. Take the backup from the old 3CX Instance and shut it down.
2. Use the latest 3CX ISO to deploy Debian 9 on the new machine. The 3CX Installation wizard will automatically start.
3. Restore the Backup file during installation.

[EDIT]
Because the 3cx on the new hardware is not started (debian), I cannot read the version in the management portal.
Yes, you can, log into the new hardware via SSH, and type:
Code:
dpkg -l | grep 3cxpbx
This will tell you the version that is installed, but regardless follow the instructions above.
